Chairman Jhal Nath Khanal of United Marxist Leninist (UML) is quite confident that as long as Baburam Bhattarai remains seated as country’s Prime Minister, Peace and Constitution related tasks will remain obstructed.
Perhaps Khanal has begun studying astrology these days.
In Nepalgunj, while addressing a press meet organized by UML affiliated journalists, Khanal said, “I am certain that Prime Minister Baburam’s dream to transform his government into a national unity government will not come true. This might be similar to his other fantasies.”
However, the erstwhile prime minister whose term in government was also a failure did not express his willingness to lead the national unity government once again.
Khanal understands his surface now well.
According to Khanal, who until the other day was considered pretty close to Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal of Unified Maoists alleged that primarily the Maoists were responsible for the obstruction of peace process.
Their unnecessary demand favouring directly elected executive president is hindering even the peace process, observed Khanal.
“There is no alternative to unity between major political parties to clean up the political mess,” khanal told the journalists.
