We have never seen a traitor as such. In fact we wish to locate some and read their slave mentality which encourages them to serve their alien masters at the cost of their own motherland. We have a strong desire to enter into a serious discussion as to how and why they prefer to talk nonsense and in the process insult their own soil of birth? Is it the subservience? Or colossal amount that they have been promised to by their alien masters? Or is it that they feel that in doing so they will ever remain in the pages of history? Indeed a black one.
We have heard of Jaychand and Mirjaffors, both from India, and many more fifth columnists that we may also have in abundance. We have also read the horrible story of Kazi Lendhup Dorje of Independent and Sovereign Sikkim Kingdom. A careful study of these extraordinary historical bad and sad names, what we have found common in them all is that they preferred to serve as a slave than remaining loyal to the soil which gave them the birth.
People can go so low?
The fresh example is Kazi Lendhup Dorje who beamingly sided with the noted South Asian dictator of her time, Madame Gandhi-the Indian Prime Minister and encouraged this iron lady to swallow his own Kingdom perhaps in lieu of some hefty amounts or similar favors.
Lendhup is taken as a dirty and ugly name in the world more so in this part of Asia as this was the first modern South Asian who committed a heinous crime against his own Independent nation-state and contributed his entire strength in assimilating his own country of birth into the Indian Union.
Kazi died a death which went unsung and his own close relatives preferred not even to spit at him while he was counting his last breath. A treatment that he deserved.
While Kazi drowned his own motherland then back in Nepal, we have been told, several such treacherous elements have surfaced of late. We need to establish them and serve stern warning or else Nepal too sooner than later will have the unfortunate fate of Sikkim. These disloyal elements in the form of human beings are moving in luxurious vehicles, we have been told. They eat Nepali food but sing alien folk songs or think on how to encourage the foreign powers to pounce upon Nepal. Some have already been located and were under people’s scanner.
Dr. Rishi Raj Baral, a Maoist leader only a few weeks back had pointed out few good names who were right inside his own party and trying to assimilate the Nepal Maoists. Albeit, the Maoists party is the creation of the Indian Union. This remains no longer a secret now. However, can the names as revealed by the Maoists scholar, Dr. Baral, go to this extent in damaging their own party and finally their own nation-state? But for what gains?
Maryo Tyo Jiundai Jasley Birsyo Desh Ko Mato…
Definitely, Nepal’s political mercenaries prefer not to work for free. Slaves always hanker after financial gains. At times this becomes their compulsion. This much could be understood. But the high level political men, let’s take them to belong to the ruling elites, too appear more than interested in pleasingly serve their foreign boss. But why? Is it only the lust for monetary gains? Or something else? Or at best, have they sold out their own Nepali souls?
Whether it tantamount to a treacherous act or is in effect an act of sedition, we have failed to define or understand. But can one imagine that a Nepali political personality in the highest post of the nation can talk of merging the nation with its immediate neighbors? A born Nepali with Nepali soul can’t even dream of such a merger. But He has told it and made it public.
Unfortunately, the Nepali media appears to have completely ignored this ugly statement that has appeared recently. Why the mainstream media is keeping a silence? Again for what gains and clandestine purposes? Media too plays double at times.
Sorry to say, we in the Media were not that much sacrosanct as we give others to understand about ourselves. We too are a proven corrupt lot. We too have more often than not got carried away by the likelihood of hefty financial gains and thus have in the process ignored our own national interests, if at all we have worth the name.
We at this paper were taken aback when we heard of such frightening news coming as it did from a very high level personality. We could not believe it simply because we concluded that “HE” can’t even think of such heinous acts. However, we came to our senses when some seniors told us that “HE” had already made such predictions.
But is it possible in this 21st century to gulp an independent and sovereign nation? Perhaps the one who spoke about this threat must have been told to speak so as some mercenaries have a habit to do exactly what has been instructed by their masters.
We at this paper find no appropriate word in denouncing “HIS” highly provocative and antinational remarks but yet laud his loyalty that “HE” has been exhibiting towards the masters who have posted him to control Nepal. Mother Nepal is cursed. With such sons, it would have been better had she remained childless.
