Kathmandu: As the date for the termination of the “ought to be declared dead” Constituent Assembly is approaching fast, the jumpiness is seen not among only the Nepali superfluous leaders but equally the regime across the border appears to have lost its psychological order to the extent that it has been sending proven political clowns to Nepal of various shades and colors in its “last ditch effort” to assure the dutiful Nepali leaders that there was nothing to panic as the regime, the fortune fixer” of Nepal has already prepared a “primary rough draft” of the constitution for the wretched Nepalese people that they have been made. A friend in need is a friend indeed. But the friend believes in oppression, frankly speaking.
Though the peace process is talked to have accomplished a breakthrough to which perhaps it is not.
The self declared Nepal expert S. D. Muni who has the distinction of scolding/insulting Nepalese population as and when he arrives Nepal, (some salaried agents perhaps invite him on a regular basis to listen to his bogus structured sermons) hinted during his fresh sojourn to Nepal that “Nepal can have its constitution in parts by registering in the said incomplete Charter that the “leftovers” of the contentious issues will be dealt with later) which does mean that even an incomplete Charter in four years will be enough to cheat the Nepali population. Another four years cheat remains in the pipeline.
It was a suggestion or an order? Only time will tell. In addition, whether Muni was talking His Masters’ Voice or his own too will come to the fore soon.
Surya Bahadur Thapa and Pasupati S. Rana subscribed to Muni’s view very freshly. Wow! Birds of same feather must flock together. That’s it.
A clever Muni during his stay in Nepal seduced both Bhattarai and Krishna Prasad Sitaula that India will wish to see their respective government(s) either to continue or be in place soon.
A beaming Sitaula of the NC claimed that soon the country will have a Nepali Congress led government. But will Bhattarai offer his power to NC in a silver plate as is being taken by the NC?
While Muni staged this comedy in Kathmandu then there is yet another drama to be repeated soon by the Indian regime.
Sharad Yadav of the United Janta Dal, India, has already stated that India was very much willing to invite the former NOIDA dweller Prachanda to Delhi wherein he may have a chance to be received in audience by Man Mohan Singh and his boss, Madame Sonia Gandhi-the Indian ruler. Home rejected is being honoured by aliens. What a perfect joke for the outgoing year?
Talking to Parsuram Kaphley, a highly competent Nepali journalist, K. C. Tyagi, the spokesperson of the Janta Dal, said over phone that “Chairman Dahal is being invited at a time when Nepal is soon to draft a new constitution and finalise the ongoing peace process.
Question thus becomes pertinent as to why the Indian establishment preferred the gracious presence of Chairman Dahal and what for?
India doesn’t invite tom-dick and harry unless she has to get her things done. Prachanda has already proved himself as an Indian tool, if one were to recall his NOIDA days and the uninterrupted volcanic explosions in Nepal.
So then what India wants to extract from wobbly Dahal? No free lunch will be served to Dahal while being in Delhi instead arm twisting awaits him hopefully. Dahal will be more than pleased even if his arms are twisted. No extra pains to the already twisted arms.
Reasons galore, analysts have compiled.
Firstly, Dahal will be told to tame the hardliners of his panel back home and check their “close” proximity with the Indian Maoists.
Chances have become though remote due to new developments that took place here just the other day.
Secondly, Dahal will be ‘ordered’ not to allow the hardliners to supply lethal weapons to the Indian Maoists as the Indian SSB has very freshly guessed. The “lost” weapons are still with the Maoists, it is presumed. Could be now with the Mohan Baidya panel Militias.
The chances have gone up instead with the Militia and the weapons being already handed over to the Nepal Army.
Thirdly, the former NOIDA traveler would be told to be of some support to reinstate the Nepali Monarchy so that the latter could be “overly used” as a political deterrent to the increasing Chinese influence in Nepal. China will perhaps not stop.
(Dahal is a silent friend of Beijing though). Will India believe him further?
Fourthly, India now needs unswerving persons in Nepal because Hindustan thinks that her relations will further deteriorate due to the claim and counter claims of both China and India over the South China Sea.
To recall, China has warned India to hands off from the South China Sea affairs then India through FM Krishna has freshly retaliated over the Chinese stance by stating that ‘South China Sea is not the private property of China’. The China-India clash over this Sea is sure to have its impact on Nepal in some way or the other. More political fluidity is round the corner.
Fifthly, Prachanda will be told by the Indian authorities to distance himself with China as is being presumed by Delhi that Chairman Dahal was very close to Beijing that he is on an occasional basis suiting to his whims. Beijing-Lumbini-Delhi are some of Dahal’s weak points. The APEC-Lumbini partnership also remains intact.
In effect, India wants Prachanda to become a ‘full time partner’ in the Indo-US Axis design to make fun of China from the Nepalese soil. In fact, the US may have hinted India to bring in Prachanda inside this Axis hoping that Dahal could be seduced easily. Sharp US brains.
Mind it that Ms. Nancy Powell in India and Peter Bodde in Nepal are soon to take up their assignments as US Ambassadors respectively.
Both are taken as US distinguished champions of anti-China activities. Ms. Powell is tentatively a half Tibetan, analysts have been told so, and is very close to the Dalai Lama establishment in Dharmashala-the Indian permanent card for poking China beginning Pundit Nehru days.
Ms. Powell in Delhi and Peter Bodde in Kathmandu will in all likelihood provide a formal shape to the Indo-US Axis through their local stooges and the search for such marionettes, analysts guess, must have been in full progress.
In addition, both these Ambassadors will be used by the US administration to encourage India to become the real guardian of South Asia which is what has already been stated by US high luminaries, July 2011. Both Mrs. Clinton and President Obama made such a statement during their visit to India last year. Chances are fair that in rest of the South Asian countries, the US may soon appoint anti-China specialists in order to encircle China in South Asia. Nepal could be the focal point because Chinese diplomacy is weak visibly in Nepal after Ambassador Yang Houlan took up his new assignment.
Sixthly, Chairman Prachanda while being in Bihar will perhaps be told by Sharad Yadav and Nitish Kumar to tame the Koshi river (also taken as sorrow of Bihar) by convincing his assistant, Nepal PM Bhattarai, to build a dam up in the Nepal’s north. The Indian design is to give a final shape and to have necessary sanctions from Nepal government to the building of a Koshi High Dam somewhere in and around Nepal’s Barahchetra area to which the Nepali environmentalists and conservationists have stood tooth and nail against such an Indian format. But Nepal PM will be more than pleased to act as per the instructions from “above”. After all, long stay in Delhi must be repaid with interests. Logic demand so.
In all, Prachanda’s Delhi sojourn will bring the Indian schemes to public through the intelligent Nepali media men.
But the snag will remain. If Prachanda inches closer to the Indian regime that he would eventually do, then his own party’s hardliners will have no options left other than to go into the fold of the ones who claim themselves as nationalists and pro-poor revolutionaries.
The sidelined King has now abundant reasons to smile.
Friction in the Maoists camp will surely benefit him. The more is the friction and spark thereafter, the more he benefits in an indirect manner. Intelligent brains understand this.
Top Bahadur Rayamajhi has not for nothing hinted that Mohan Baidya, Kamal Thapa, Mohan Bikram and Chitra Bahadur K. C have begun exhibiting characteristics of the former Royalists. Top’s allegations will perhaps bring the blamed Royalists even more closer with the men mentioned above for sure. Enemy’s enemy is my friend.
The fresh Maoist’s Militia and their weapons in the cantonments being handed over to the government, read the National Army, in a Hollywood film style has already irritated Mohan Baidya and his panel members. The Militias who have concluded that they have been duped by Dahal-Bhattarai clique have already entered into Baidya camp. The days ahead will certainly be a frightening one. Protests programs have already been charted out. More secret preparations are being chalked out on how to destabilise Dahal-Bhattarai duo regime. Dahal’s effigies have already been burnt.
Mind it, this weapon handover drama has been staged just a day after the departure of Indian Army Chief V. K. Singh from Kathmandu. This must have some links with the cyclonic entrance of Nepal Army inside the Maoists cantonments.
The politics has become juicy indeed. Jungle day’s friends have become foes.
The story is just upside down now. Achtung! Uwaga!
